I was sitting in a coffee bar,while waiting to hear back from my client.Next to me some business leaders and service model experts were discussing about how disgusting the modern days consumers are all about.Those gentlemen were quite clueless about their service model that smelled the last breath.

We are committed to creating and operating our businesses confirming to the highest possible moral,competitiveness and ethical standards.We do not believe in entertaining any flaws & lose ends in the system .I overheard someone saying, this kind of customer-concentric goal orientation shouldn't have en-route to any customer  dissatisfaction. Still we have become another rolling stone mimic in the industry.Then who is the real culprit in this tragedy?

This is a simple abstract for my fellow marketers,
You can use this concept to build a brand that will sustain for decades.

The key to make a reliable and trusted brand is to be specific.Effective goals need to be S.M.A.R.T.

SMART is an acronym for Specific,Measurable,Action -oriented,Realistic and Time-Limited.

Specific:

Goals need to be specific.As an example,I could say,"I want  people to like me," when what I mean is that I want Christie to like me.Well,how will I know if she likes me?

Advertisements on TV :Serving it's purpose or not?


We are watching one of the prime time TV-serial right now.On the spur of the moment,I heard there are troubles of more than one kind.

You should not buy that,' my friend said

Adeela  smiled.(my friends wife) 'It's not that difficult,' the immediate reply was 'How do you put up with me?'

"You're probably right," Adeela said mildly. I was shocked over the ad impact behaviour of both.

"Yes,They are studying her thoughtfully.It was a question we never would have asked one year ago.Then she would have known exactly where everything stood.'I think it might be better if you spent more time here in the office,otherwise on television.'I told myself.

Too many things are becoming unravelled.There are some decisions that only you can make.
'We advertiser's are making ads to serve the purpose of information  or using in-terms of impulsion only.Which made me think about this quote of David Ogilvy.

Sitting in a nice coffee bar while reading the headlines of a well known e-newspaper in my laptop. Suddenly I was going back to my child days when I was in teen.

During those days, every morning I was eagerly waiting for the paper boy to ring our door bell and handover the news paper to my dad. In the breakfast table I was keenly watching my dad turning the pages. I was just waiting for my turn to read my all time favourite “sports column”.

 
Now everything has changed with the evolution of information technology . We can get whatever we want by click of the mouse with the help of e-media in a digitalized world.
